David Fincher’s glittering, sniper-precise remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, impeccably cast, scripted and shot, was also a wholly unnecessary, overly long film, doubly so given that everyone had already watched the original Girl on Netflix with Noomi Rapace.
That being said, both its teaser and its extended long-form trailer are masterpieces of the micro-art form. Sure, this shows you most of the movie from A to Z, but it’s incredibly well-cut and scored with Trent Reznor’s “An Itch.” So watch it. It’s good trailer.
Soon you will know us all, only too well, with my apologies.
